We Love Studio Show. / スタジオライブがスキ。
We played two studio shows in August. Both events are organized by our favorite person/bands. We really enjoy to play!! We love studio show. Player and listener are standing on same floor and exchange their energy each other.
We share how to make a studio show here.
1. Ask the studio if they can hold a live show.
2. If possible, book the date and time. As this time, let them know that you want to hold a live show, and include the time for setup and clean up. Also, ask about any important point to note.
3. MAKE A FLYER!!
4. On the day! You have to think about the entrance. You need some exchange. And just have fun!! Complete it in time as it was before!!
8月2日は「TWIN FALLS 6」、8月17日は「SUGER FACTORY メ」と、どちらもスタジオライブの企画でした。大好きなバンドの企画としても楽しく演奏できました。スタジオライブって、演奏する側も観る側も、同じ高さに一緒に居て、熱量がお互い伝わってくる感じもあって、大好きです。ライブハウスも、もちろん好きですが、それぞれに違った良さがあるなあと。
スタジオライブをこれからやってみたいなあって人に作り方を共有します。
① スタジオに、ライブイベント実施の可能か問合せる。
② 可能なら、開催したい日時を予約する。この時ちゃんと「スタジオライブしたい」と伝えるのと、準備と片づけの時間を考慮する。注意点も聞く。
③ フライヤーを作ってスタジオに貼ってもらったり、SNSで告知したりする。
④ 当日は受付のことも考える。（自分たちでやる）つり銭とか。あとは楽しむ。そして時間内に元通りにする。（何があったっけ？って毎回思い出す。）
夏休み。Summer Vacation by Sonoko
This summer vacation, I went to my parent's house during "Obon" for a week. Because my grandma's first Obon. It was a week of meeting and talking with my relatives and facing my ancestors. I also went to a local event with my nephew for the first time in over 20 years. I met my old friends too. It was over 20 years past too! My friends has grown up! And of course, me too...! It was fun. By the way, this event is calle "Donbuya". It's a thick, tightly bound bundle of straw. It's lit with a flame and spun above the head. It was impressed by how hard the kids worked to spin it over their heads!! Of course, my nephew also did it. After finishing, he seemed to have a strange sense of elation and was very excited. Everyone did their BEST!! Next year!? "DONBUYA" like that →
今年の夏休みは実家（長野）に1週間くらいがっつり帰省しました。祖母の初盆だったので、ちゃんと「お盆」しました。親せきの人と会ったり、話したり、ご先祖様的なものに向き合った1週間でした。小学6年生振りに地域の行事に行きました。（おいっ子と一緒に…）20年以上ぶりに会う地元の友人…みんなすごく大人になっててドキドキしました。（笑）楽しかった…!!（笑）
ちなみに、「どんぶや」という行事なのですが、わらを太く強く束ねたものに、火を灯して燃えさかるそれ（どんぶや）を頭上で回す、というものです。小学1年生〜6年生（それ以上もいるけど主に小学生がやる）が一生けん命に回していて、感動しました。もちろんおいっ子3年生も回していました。妙な達成感があるみたいで、回し終えた後はテンション高かったです。アドレナリン的なのが出たのかも。
回してた全員格好よかった。友だちも3才の子を抱えて回してたの格好よかったな。また来年!?
ART × ART × MOVIE
姪子の親せきの個展に行ったあと、墨田区の北斎美術館に行き、幡ヶ谷のホームシアターで近所のおじさん、おじいさんたちと映画を観た。文化的な8月最終日を過ごした。北斎の後進の育成に対する熱意を感じた。多くの所謂「HOW TO本」をのこしている。Daveは SNOOPYの作者と通ずるものを感じたみたい。友だちと美術に触れたり、映画を観たりするのは楽しい。生きてるからできること。大切にしたい。
We went Sonoko's relatives solo exhibition and Sumida Hokusai Museum, then watched a movie at Hatagaya with old dudes of the neighbour. We spent a cultural last day of August. I (Sonoko) felt Hokusai's passion of educate his pupils. Dave felt a connection between Hokusai and the creator of "PEANUTS". It is so fun to see some art and movies with friends. These are things we can do because we are alive.
