It is Friday the 13th of March, and you're listening to the 1000s of cats podcast, and I'm trying a test this time, so all of our older podcasts, they were like mainly a song like most of the podcast was a song song. Maybe 10% of the time was somebody speaking, and then the rest of it was our song, and for some reason, services like Spotify kept sending me email that, like, "Hey, you know, You can't post your episode because it's not a podcast, it's a song. It was fine in Apple's podcast, but I don't know. So this is a test. Let's see if it gets posted. Let's see if I get that email from them telling me if it's blocked or not. That's why I'm trying to talk so much in this episode. I really don't wanna, I'm not much of a talker in the mic, but here we go.

On March 24th, we play at Heaven's Door in Sangenjaya with Brief, Flambears, Takeshi Yamato, and Lazulai Blues Blood. I hope I got all those names right. Then on March 27th, we have a show in Akihabara at Studio Goodman with Samba. and AZK's Boomerang. That one will be fun because those guys are our friends so it's going to be a total party.

As for April, we don't have any shows booked, but we're going to use the time to keep writing and getting everything ready for the new record, which is cool because we have about six songs, Maybe 80% finished? and then working on like five or six more, so it'll be a good month to do that.

Then in May, we're playing at Koenji at Oriental Force on the 8th, but the details for that show are still coming so stay tuned. Then we are On May 10th, I had Koenji Kuraku with weak points, Yoko Thema, and two hearts, and that one's our event, actually. We are putting it on for our friends from Fukuoka, the two hearts, so definitely come down to that one, and then finally, we're playing on May 10th. 13th at Club Doctor in Ogikubo with Super Fun Down Under and Goofy 18. All shows are going to be good times and all the details are on our website at thousandsofcats.band And that address will be in the show notes.

In 1000s of cats merch news, we are running out of towels and I think we have about four or five left, and so I took them off the store online. We sent out the last one two days ago. But if you're in Japan and go to a show, there might be some left. So sorry about that. Those are out of print, and we still have bags left, like eco bags, and then right now we're working on new merch. New pins, new shirt designs, and I think a new echo bag too, so that's exciting.
